SWE CONFERENCE

Every year, our SWE Section attends the SWE Conference which is held in a differenct city each year. In the past thejoy conference has been in held in Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and many others. Conference attendees enjoy  access to workshops, a large career fair, sightseeing trips, company ours and more. It is an excellent opportunity to look for an internship or a full time engineering position. Moreover, you will get to spend time with other SWEsters from the University of Houston and other SWEsters from the country. 

SCHOLARSHIPS

The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. In 2014, SWE awarded over 230 new and renewed scholarships valued at over $700,000. More info at: http://societyofwomenengineers.swe.org/scholarships
