THERE ARE 4 DIFFERENT COLLEGIATE MEMBERSHIP TYPES:
Standard Collegiate
Annual membership for college students majoring in engineering or a STEM field. Do this if you have 2 year or less left in college. This membership only lasts a year.
Collegiate to Career
One time payment for membership that will last throughout a members college career plus one additional year of professional membership after graduating. All students are required to have an expected graduation date on their account. Do this if you have 2 years or more left in college. You will have to login to renew your membership every year without payment.
Joint
Take advantage of a reduced joint membership rate when you join both SWE and one of these three professional organizations: The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). (Only available April 15 - December 31)
Global
SWE gives a 66% discount to members from low-income countries and a 33% membership discount to members from middle-income countries.
