Historian Committee

WHAT DO

WE DO?

The Society of Women Engineers at the University of Houston has several events throughout the year and we like to remember them by taking pictures. This is where the Historian Committee comes in because they are the ones responsible for taking pictures at all events. Also, the SWE UH section has several social media accounts that need to be updated frequently and the Historian Committee is in charge of keeping them up to date as well. Our social media accounts play a pivotal role in helping gain exposure and potentially recruiting new members to our organization.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ON THE HISTORIAN COMMITTEE?

As a part of the Historian Committee, one will attend events held by SWE and take pictures at these events. These pictures may be posted to SWE's social media accounts. The committee will also meet occasionally and create a scrapbook at the end of the spring semester which will hold the pictures from the fall and spring events to commemorate everything that happened throughout the year.
