Community Relations Committee

WHAT DO

WE DO?

The Community Relations Committee (CRC) is a small committee that organizes and supports SWE-UH with volunteer opportunities, fundraising events, and other major projects. The SWE UH Section encourages the act of giving back to the society.

The Restoration Project is an ongoing project that focuses on reviving and uplifting the scenery in front of the main engineering building with new plants and stocking the female restrooms in the engineering building with feminine products.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ON THE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE?

The Community Relations Committee will oversee the creation and organization of these events. The only requirement to be a part of this committee is that you're a SWE member. While the work will not be tedious, it is important that members of this committee are dedicated. We want people who are passionate about giving back to the community. Although being a part of the committee requires you to be a SWE member, anyone is welcome to come to our volunteer events.
