Women in STEM Empowerment Event (WISE)

The Women in STEM Empowerment (WISE) Event is an annual celebration hosted by the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Houston during Women’s History Month. WISE brings together students, professionals, and industry leaders to empower and support women pursuing careers in STEM fields.

The event creates opportunities for networking, mentorship, professional development, and meaningful conversations surrounding diversity, leadership, and innovation in engineering and technology.​​​

The Society of Women Engineers

Society of Women Engineers  (SWE) was founded to a form a support group for women in Engineering profession. We work to foster leadership skills and to develop camaraderie within the UH engineering community to further promote the status of women in science, engineering and technical fields.
